The inside of this bridge caught fire a year or so ago. The outside of the bridge wasn't damaged at all, but the inside has recently been completely refurbished. The ivy growing up the outside of the bridge as also disappeared, for now.
No, I wasn't driving when I took this! I was a passenger, for a change.

Sat in my car here to eat lunch around noon today. The rain had stopped, so I opened my windows and enjoyed the wind, the waves, and the clouds.

The lagoon is full today, with a steady flow of water from the rains into the ocean. Too much contrast today for my meager knowledge of camera settings. This looked a lot better in person as I was waiting for my carnitas burrito and horchata lunch from Roberto's.

Susan took this photo, probably around 1990 or so. It's just north of the Palomar Airport Road exist off Interstate 5 in San Diego County. That's the Pea Soup Anderson's windmill in the background. Matt and Scott are both in preschool. Those were the days. :)
