I remember once having about 10 of them flying around the feeder and trying to feed, it was surreal...that was back when I lived in a valley.
Now I live downtown and have a yard and they still do come a bit cause they love my pineapple sage flowers!

lj: there were so many of them at this feeder and another feeder on the same tree! I held my camera up for 5-10 minutes and got quite a few nice shots. Good luck with your hummers. :)

Thanks beady, although the timing is rather random when they're flapping their wings to hard. I kept telling it to relax and enjoy the nectar of life, but it just kept on flapping...
